Of all the types of astrology, numerology is perhaps the easiest to understand at least at the layperson’s level. In astrology, numerology is also liked by many as all you need for a reading is a person’s name and birth date. In all versions of astrology, charts are constructed for better interpretation and as a type of astrology numerology too makes use of a chart. To do so one makes use of eleven core numbers. These numbers are: 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,11 and 22. Eleven and twenty-two are thought of as ‘master numbers’. In astrology-numerology, the numbers assigned to letters in a name or in the birth date are added together, and larger numbers are further reduced by adding the digits in them till the core numbers are achieved.
